The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers to create job placements for 16- to 24-year-olds on Universal Credit.

It is a six-month paid job with a local employer, funded by the Government. It provides a fully funded opportunity for young people to gain experience of working in one of Britain’s most exciting companies.

What do we need to do?

Purpose of the role: Which tasks do you need completed in six months’ time? What will this person have achieved/what value will they bring to you?

Assistant coaches will bring additional capacity to your team when delivering to smaller groups due to current covid-19 pandemic.

Provide the opportunity for young people to gain some pre-apprenticeship training.

Give young people the opportunity to gain employment via coaching and apprenticeship positions.

They will gain valuable experience on how to work in sport & education setting, the standards that are required and the pathways available to them beyond the placement.

Give your staff the opportunity to take further responsibility and develop another person.
