The Big Give is an annual match funding campaign which raises millions of pounds for good causes, as well as other match funding campaigns.
The 2025 campaign will run for just one week from Monday 23rd – Sunday 29th June. All proceeds Active Fusion made are set to be invested into creating a more inclusive community for the children and young people that need it the most.
Our Why
Too many children and young people growing up in areas of disadvantage across South Yorkshire face inequality of opportunity on many levels. The rise in families living in poverty because of the pandemic has had a profound impact on the physical and mental wellbeing of our children, with young people most vulnerable hit hardest by social isolation and health related issues as a result.
Active Fusion’s Inclusion service delivers a transition support programme for young people 10-19, offering personal and professional skills development through sports leadership and mentoring for some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people with special educational needs.

How the Big Give works…
The matching pot for each charity is made up of two types of funding. Funding from champions, these are partners of the Big Give and funding from pledges. These are key supporters of the participating charities such as major donors, trustees, and local businesses.
Donations made by our community were doubled by the pledge funds and our champions.

The final funds pot that Active fusion receive is made up of three cruical components. With your donation, we unlock access to matched funds via The Big Give, alongside the addition of Gift Aid (don’t forget to add this!)
